American Authors treat Lexington fans with a fun and lively evening!
It’s going to be a busy few months for the American Authors. Currently on tour supporting Phillip Phillips on his current Where We Came From Tour while performing some headline dates between tour stops. The guys recently released their newest single “Blind For Love”, in 6 different variations (creating piano, acoustic, slowed down, sped up, and instrumental versions of the new track) and the winter of 2023 will see a new studio album, the bands 4th studio release.
On the new single, the band shares: “‘Blind For Love’ is about trusting your feelings and finding your way through this world with the person you love.” You can listen to the song below and the other variations all now, here.
As for the evening, The American Authors treated Lexington to a special acoustic evening of music which covered all three of the band’s studio albums. With an energetic style and an infectious presence, the aforementioned new single “Blind For Love” and their anthemic hit single “Best Day of My Life” came bouncing from the stage that had the whole venue was dancing and singing along.
Phillip Phillips surprised fans by joining The Authors for a rousing rendition of “Bring It On Home” followed by “Deep Water”, a song about support and love before closing their all too short set with “I’m Born To Run”. Needless to say The American Authors won over a number of Lexington fans with their fun and energetic set, many of whom will be eagerly looking forward to their return.
