Tyler Bryant and The Shakedown have a rip-roaring good time with fans and family in Lexington with Daisy Chain.
Big things are in the works for Tyler Bryant and The Shakedown (TBSD) as they move into the 2nd half of 2022. On Friday the guys released the first single “Ain’t None Watered Down” from their upcoming album Shake The Roots, to be released on Friday, September 9th. The BIG news is that the new album will be released on Rattleshake Records, Tyler Bryant and The Shakedown’s own record label, an undertaking that has been more than a year in the making and is coming to fruition in a big way!
As for the concert at The Burl in Lexington, Oh what a night! With their customary energy and enthusiasm, Tyler, drummer Caleb Crosby, guitarist Graham Whitford and bassist Ryan Fitzgerald blasted onto The Burl Stage and immediately into fiery renditions of “Drive Me Mad,” “Onto the next” and “Ride” that kicked the evening off into high gear. Over the course of the evening the set included something for everyone with songs from seemingly every point of TBSD’s catalog, digging far into the vault with “Shackles” from 2011 right up to a recently written number called “Born Rockin’” inspired by the upcoming birth of Caleb Crosby’s firstborn and even a sneak peek at the upcoming single “Ain’t None Watered Down”.
While the band let the music do the talking for most of the evening, it was clear that the guys were really having a good time on stage and feeding off the energy from the crowd. Tyler Bryant and The Shakedown closed out their main set with “Ramblin’ Bones” which saw the whole band at the edge of the stage. A smoking encore rendition “Lipstick Wonder Woman” capped an epic evening of rock n’ Roll that left the room buzzing as the house lights came up. As per their usual M.O. the guys spent time with fans after their set, taking pictures, signing albums which is always special to see and be a part of.
Chicago based Blues/psych rock foursome, Daisychain started the evening off with a fun and lively set of original songs from their Self-titled EP and from their Different Shades EP. Daisychain is bassist and vocalist Nickole Regala, guitarist and vocalist Sophia Williams, lead guitarist Frankie Sripada, and drummer Frank Kurtz,
