Beartooth at Old Foresters Paristown Hall in Louisville, KY 03-MAY-2022

Beartooth closed out a wildly successful spring US tour to a jam packed Paristown Hall with friends Silverstein, The Devil Wears Prada and ERRA

By the time Beartooth rolled into Louisville for this evening’s final tour stop on the US leg of “The Below Tour” they had covered 27 shows in 37 days crisscrossing across the country with shows on both the west coast (In Anaheim, CA) and the east coast (in Providence, RI) while covering numerous points in between. None of that mattered as a sold out crowd of Louisville rockers piled into Old Forester’s Paristown Hall ready to party and rock out with Beartooth et, al.  With the 4 bands performing and the relatively early start time (to allow for good sets from all the supporting bands) there was a solid sea of fans as the opening band ERRA took to the stage.

A huge, stage length curtain briefly blocked fans view of the stage as the house lights dropped and Beartooth launched into the first song of the evening while behind the curtain.  In an instant the curtain fell, fireworks were exploding, confetti cannons were on full tilt as Caleb and Beartooth exploded onto the Louisville Stage and immediately into their opening songs “Below,” “Devastation”, and “Aggressive” with a fire and energy that could barely be contained.

There was a definite feeling throughout the night that this tour was something special for all the bands involved, not only coming out of the Covid pandemic and being able to get back on the road and tour again but a strong bond of friendship between everyone involved. Throughout the set several “friends” joined Caleb and the guys on stage as Beartooth ripped through their set.  Over the course of the evening all of the fan favorites came blasting from the stage including “Afterall,” “Skin, “In “Between” before closing the evening with “The Past Is Dead” and “The Last Riff” from their latest release Below.  It was a great evening of hardcore metal by some of the top bands in the genre. Fans have one final chance to see this show as Beartooth scheduled their first hometown headlining show in Columbus in over four years at Kemba LIVE – Outdoor on August 6th!

Providing main support this evening was Canadian Post Hardcore rockers Silverstein. The guys are touring in support of their latest studio alum (the bands 10th)Misery Made Me which was released on May 6th and treated fans to several songs from the album including “Bankrupt,” “Ultraviolet,” and “It’s Over” along with Silverstein standards “My Heroine” and Smashed into Pieces”

The Devil Wears Prada, an American metalcore band from Dayton, Ohio, are no strangers to Louisville having performed here several times and have a strong local following. As expected, The Devil Wears Prada didn’t waste a minute of their time on stage immediately starting with “Watchtower” and “Danger: Wildman”  along with fan favorite “Sacrifice” before closing out their set with “Dogs Can Grow Beards All Over” with a surprise cameo by Caleb  from Beartooth joining the guys on stage.

Opening the evening with an aggressive metalcore set were Birmingham, Alabama based ERRA. ERRA is touring in support of their recently released (on March 19) self-titled album
