Wyld Ryde at 4th Street Live! in Louisville, KY 26-MAR-22

Wyld Ryde rocks Louisville’s 4th Street Live! with Goodnight Carnage.

While the weather outside was frightfully cold (with the wind chill it was a bitter 29 degrees) nothing was going to stop Louisville rockers Wyld Ryde, Goodnight Carnage and a bunch of fans and friends from flocking to 4Th Street live! this evening for an evening of honest, straight laced Rock n’ Roll!

Headliners Wyld Ryde are poised to have a huge 2022!  In December, the band released their sophomore album, Gasoline Alley along with a red hot video in support of the album’s title track. This follows the bands very successful debut EP City Streets, released in 2018. This evening marks Wyld Ryde’s first show of 2022 and the start of what is shaping up to be a very busy spring and early summer for the band.

Fronted by guitarist and vocalist Chief along with a rock solid core of drummer Michael Kidd (Vicious) and Mick Watkins on bass & vocals and flamboyant riff master, lead guitarist, Tommy Blitz, Wyld Ryde powered onto the 4th Street Live! stage with a vengeance! Opening the evening with the aforementioned track, “Gasoline Alley” the guys never looked back.  Over the next 80+ minutes one hard driving, riff heavy song after another came blasting from the stage including “Life on The Road”, “Alone” and “Something to Hide” along with a crazy good Def Leppard cover of “Another Hit And Run”. Wyld Ryde closed out a great set and a fun evening with “Six Gun Shooter” leaving all of the “Ryders” in attendance happy, satisfied, and ready for the next show.

Kicking the evening off to a blazing start were Louisville rockers Goodnight Carnage. Featuring Scott Smith on rhythm & lead guitar & backing vocals, Rick Fields on lead vocals & lead guitar along with bassist Brian Scott and drummer Chad Monk, Goodnight Carnage rolled through a fun and lively set of original songs that definitely grabbed everyone’s attention.

I would say that a Wyld Ryde show is not just a show but an “event” where the band and the “Ryders” have nothing but a great time!
