Oh, What a night! Billed as the “Valentines Love Jam” and presented by The Black Promoters Collective (BPC) brought 3 legendary soul singers to the Yum! With tonight’s show kicking off the Valentine’s Day weekend, Love was in the air as an awesome crowd turned out dressed to the nines. The overall aura and excitement of the evening was electric- there were so many stunningly dressed women (many adorned in various sequined outfits) accompanied by so many sharp dressed men, all ready to party with Patti, Gladys, and Stephanie. There was even a professional photo booth on the concourse where couples could get a special Valentine’s Day couple’s photo during the evening.
Wearing a tight fitting, knee length yellow dress accompanied by a flowing, floor length yellow jacket Stephanie Mills started the evening in grand fashion! With a never-ending smile and interacting with fans during her time on stage, Stephanie rolled through a full hour+ long set which included all the hits and favorites including “Never Knew Love Like This Before,” “I Feel Good All Over,” “I Have Learned to Respect the Power of Love” and “Something in the Way You Make Me Feel”
