Guerrilla Red at The 21st In Germantown, KY 19-NOV-21

Guerrilla Red blasts Louisville with Artwork For The Blind and NothingWrong.

The Louisville, Kentucky metal scene is simply VIBRANT and deep with talent. If there were any doubts about that statement all you had to do was stand center stage at the 21st in Germantown on Friday evening where Guerrilla Red, Artwork For The Blind, and NothingWrong strutted their stuff.

It had been almost 2 years since Guerrilla Red’s last Louisville show and the guys were hell-bent to make up for the lost time. Scorching through a set that included several songs from their Fight EP as well as some newer tracks like “Sink or Swim” vocalist Steven Stith, drummer Richard Dewey, guitarist Matt O’Riordan and bassist Erik Marchand were firing on all cylinders this evening.

Providing main support this evening was Louisville Death metallers Artwork For the Blind. Featuring frontman/vocalist Sean Coy Curry, guitarist Sol E. Williams, bassist Michael Hoehn, and drummer Larry Myers Artwork For The Blind are coming off of a recent performance at the recent Blue Ridge Rock Festival in West Virginia and left no prisoners as they blazed through a deep and heavy set which included “Bring Out Your Dead”.

Taylorsville, Kentucky-based metallers NothingWrong opened the evening in a great way with a fast and energetic set of original songs. Bassist/vocalist/Frontman, Cory Adams poured out energy that was matched by the ever-growing crowd.
